Preparing for Birth
The newest member of our family is due to arrive later this month - a second grandchild for me. A he or she? My gut says a boy. Either way, all will soon be revealed. While his tiny human form dons its finishing touches in preparation for birth, there are likely some intense, last-minute conversations occurring amongst the spirits. His soul family all helping him fine tune his wish list of experiences and opportunities for this upcoming lifetime. As he readies himself to move from the realm he currently calls home, his earth family patiently waits to embrace him here.

Children's Parable
The Little Soul and the Sun. Wonderfully written children's parable. Beautifully illustrated picture book. A story of learning about who we really are. Dealing with incarnation and having the human experience. Two little spirits discussing their responsibilities to each other. All set in a loving environment. Simple language. Powerful message. Written for children but so delightful to read as an adult. Looking forward to taking it down off the shelf and rereading it soon. A pleasant little interlude.

The Dance
I feel as if I am dancing, lightly stepping from one foot to the other. Of this world, and then not. Continually moving back and forth between my spiritual understanding and human condition. At times, I am convinced that if I were to stop, I would fall into that deep abyss that lies in wait. Hence, I continue to dig deeply and muster the strength I need in order to keep on dancing.
